Ibiza Street Style and Wishlist

Loooong time no blog I know - I took an unplanned blogging break, but now I'm back with a summery wishlist which does not match the weather outside! I'm jetting off to Ibiza in 46 days' time (yep I've got a countdown app on my phone) and my holiday wardrobe needs a bit of a revamp. As you can see, I've been trawling the web for Ibiza street style to provide inspiration. There appear to be two main fashion camps on the White Isle - glam boho looks, featuring maxi dresses, loose flowing layers, heaps of jewellery and metallic sandals, and then there are the ravers, kitted out in bright colours, the ubiquitous vintage Levi cut-offs and the coolest trainers money can buy. I just can't choose which style I prefer, so I'm aiming for a mish mash:
Ibiza Wish List

Zara kimono
Topshop cami
Vintage Levi's cut-offs
Zara black dress
Missguided off the shoulder skater dress
Nike Air Max 90 (can't find where to buy this colour-way)
Urban Outfitters backpack
ASOS sunglasses
Zara sandals

Simple sun dresses are the ultimate holiday attire as you can just throw them on, add some statement jewellery - and they don't take up much space in your suitcase! This swishy Zara one takes you from the beach to the bar, while you can show off tanned shoulders in the turquoise Missguided skater dress. Denim cut-offs are another Ibiza essential - worn with a swimsuit they transform beach-wear into a suitable outfit for lunch or shopping, and they can be paired with pretty crochet tops for clubbing. A kimono adds a boho edge to a poolside outfit and is a great cover-up for sunburnt shoulders, and don't forget some massive round sunnies to protect those hungover peepers! Nike Air Max are having a moment, and will be the comfiest footwear for dancing until sunrise, while these white and silver Zara sandals will add a cool, minimal edge to a simple dress. Finally, the Urban Outfitters pom pom backpack will fit all your essentials for a day at the beach!

What would you take to Ibiza?

A few of my favourite things...

Hello all! Just plugging ma YouTube channel again, here are some current favourite things of mine..

Since I pulled it from my stocking on Christmas Day I have been loving the Soap & Glory Rich and Foamous Body Wash, its almondy sweet smell almost making me look forward to getting out of bed and into the shower of a morning. I'm not sure what I did before the Real Techniques Buffing Brush came into my life, as it blends my foundation so effortlessly and flawlessly. The MUA Heaven & Earth Palette caters to all my eyeshadow needs; its pigmented, long lasting brown and neutral shades making it worth far more than the tiny £4 price tag. My final make-up favourite is the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 001 Honey, a lovely vintage pink, pigmented balm which wears beautifully - I definitely need to buy some more shades from the range. My favourite perfume of recent months has to be Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush, the heady floral notes making it the perfect, grown-up scent for day or evening. My only fashion favourite is my pair of New Look ankle strap heels, the £20 price tag belying their sophisticated, Zara-esque appearance.

If you need a new book to add to your reading list, it has to be The Bridge by Iain Banks, a haunting, cleverly written story of the strange world inside the head of a coma victim. And finally, on the telly box I have been avidly following the intense murder investigation played out in Broadchurch, and have finally discovered that the hype around Game of Thrones is firmly justified!

3 Ways to Wear: Topshop Jamie Jeans

Look One: Hat - Zara Man // top and cardigan - Primark // stole - came with a coat // boots - Office // rings - Ebay and gifts
Look Two: Coat - Topshop // shirt - Zara // necklace - River Island // boots - Ebay
Look Three: Shirt - Zara // belt - charity shop // bag - Forever 21 // shoes - New Look

Hi guys! I am forever banging on about the virtues of the Topshop Jamie Jean, so I thought what better subject for a '3 Ways to Wear' post? The high waist is super flattering and adds interest to a look, meaning you can tuck all manner of tops into your jeans to tranform your outfit. I have also branched out into a lookbook kind of video to go with the post, and would love it if you fancied having a watch of that too! I have styled three quite different looks, all of which I have actually worn out and about. The first is super casual with a grunge twist, the second is more of a transitional look which would work from day to evening. The final look is quite dressed up and would be great for a night out or after-work drinks. I LOVE the neon pop of the satchel/clutch, which I won in a giveaway on Gracie's YouTube channel!

What do you think of my three looks? And what do you make of the video, if you watched it?
